AHEAD™ merges our experience and expertise in materials science and electronics for electric/autonomous vehicles.
Derlin® and Zytel® help make insulin injector pens lighter and easier to use.
Vespel® ASB Channels help aircraft thrust reversers improve safety and durability.
Zytel polymers enable the development of customized protective cases for personal electronics.
Karlez® perfluoroelastomer parts and Vespel® parts and shapes improve high pressure seal and valve applications.
Rynite® PET resins and Hytrel® thermoplastic polyester elastomers enable innovative, ergonomic furniture designs.
ZYTEL® is the DuPont™ trade name for its nylon resins. Nylon was invented by DuPont in 1930s. The key features of ZYTEL® Nylons are - High mechanical strength, Excellent balance of stiffness / toughness, Good high temperature performance, Good electrical
and flammability properties and Good abrasion and chemical resistance.
ZYTEL® Nylons are available in many grades like Unfilled, Glass-reinforced and Mineral reinforced. It can
be processed easily on regular injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion machines.
Delrin® is the DuPont™ trade name for acetal resin also commonly referred to as polyoxymethylene (POM). Delrin®, was the world’s first acetal resin and is a highly versatile engineering polymer.
Delrin® offers
an excellent balance of desirable properties that bridges the gap between metals and ordinary plastics. Since its introduction in 1960, it has been widely used around the world in many applications, such as in the automotive,
appliance, construction, hardware, electronic, and consumer goods industries.
Crastin® is the DuPont™ trade name for thermoplastic polymers based on Polytritylene Terephalate (PBT).
DuPont™ Crastin® PBT is the product of choice for designers, engineers, and manufacturers for its stiffness
and toughness, superior electrical insulation properties, and exceptional surface finishes. Crastin® is also preferred for its excellent dimensional properties and stability versus moisture as well as its heat resistance.
DuPont™ Crastin® PBT has good mechanical, physical and electrical properties and can easily be processed on standard injection moulding machines.
HYTREL® is the DuPont™ trade name for its thermo plastic polyester elastomers. DuPont™ Hytrel® TPC-ET thermoplastic elastomer combines the flexibility of rubber with the strength and processability of thermoplastics. Manufacturers prefer parts made with
Hytrel® for their resilience, heat and chemical resistance, as well as their strength and durability.
HYTREL ® can be readily formed into high-performance products by a variety of thermoplastic processing techniques, including injection moulding, extrusion, blow moulding, rotational moulding and melt casting.
Rynite® is the DuPont™ trade name for its thermoplastic polyester resins. Rynite® is a specially formulated material for rapid crystallization during the injection moulding process. Rynite® has excellent strength and stiffness and offers good dimensional
stability, outstanding chemical and heat resistance and internally good elastical properties.
Rynite® thermoplastic polyester resins are noted for their easy fill and excellent
melt blow characteristics in the injection moulding process. This leads to close moulding tolerance and high productivity from multi-cavity tools.
