Established in 1947 by Late Mr. M.AL. Alagappa Chettiar, Vani Private Limited started as a trading company in Tamil Nadu. In the late 80s, we strategically moved our base to Bangalore, Karnataka, capitalizing on the city’s rapid development. With more than 75 years of industry experience, we’ve evolved into India’s leading distributor of high-performance plastics and cutting-edge industrial innovations from globally renowned companies.

Aligned with Celanese M&M Business to continue distributing Engineering Polymers. Looking to become a prominent player in the Industrial Materials Distribution.
Opened Pune office for Maharashtra market; expanded with 3M Abrasives and partnered with Klingspor & TBM Limex.
Expanded 3M India partnership to include RED, CMSD, Electro-Communications, PSD, and CSD product lines.
Began distribution of DuPont Tyvek products in healthcare and automotive segments, including mattress covers, pillow covers, car covers, and sunshades.
Began Distribution of DuPont India marketing high Performance engineering Polymers like Crastin, Hytrel, Rynite, Zytel and Delrin.

My leadership philosophy involves motivating my top management team to drive sustainable growth, benefiting not only the company but also every individual involved.
My overarching goal is to expand business opportunities both domestically and globally. It has long been my aspiration to establish formal relationships and joint ventures with reputable foreign companies.

Vani, headquartered in Bangalore—India’s renowned ‘Silicon Valley’ and ‘IT Capital’—has strategically expanded its footprint across major industrial hubs. Since 2021, we’ve operated in Pune, the country’s ‘Motor City,’ and in 2024, we established a presence in Mumbai, India’s financial and trade capital.

We operate spacious, ISO-certified warehouses strategically located in key city centers and industrial corridors of Bangalore and Pune, enabling fast, efficient, and reliable distribution.
Each warehouse is systematically segmented by product category, ensuring optimal organization, faster retrieval, and reduced handling time.
Our dedicated warehouse management team monitors inventory in real-time, ensuring seamless stock updates and immediate visibility into product availability.
We maintain a robust inventory cycle of 45 to 90 days, balancing both Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) product lines. This enables us to respond swiftly to market demands and mitigate risks arising from supply chain volatility.
Our logistics and packaging specialists use industry-grade, high-strength materials to secure products during transit, guaranteeing safe and damage-free deliveries to our customers.
Sales Infrastructure
Our head office is located in the heart of Bangalore, serving as the central hub for strategic planning and coordination. Our Pune operations are strategically positioned in the automotive hub of Pimpri-Chinchwad, while our Mumbai branch operates from Bhiwandi—one of the key distribution zones in the Thane region. Each sales office is co-located with or adjacent to spacious, well-equipped warehouses, enabling us to provide prompt and efficient service to our customers.
Every location is staffed with experienced operations professionals who handle order management, provide product and technical support for new RFQs, and work closely with our dedicated sales teams to strengthen customer relationships. In addition, our group companies across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra extend our regional reach and give us access to a shared pool of skilled talent. Our experts also make regular visits to neighboring states, ensuring we remain responsive and connected to our customers’ evolving needs.
