Vani Private Limited commenced operations as a company trading in Textile Fabrics
Vani Private Limited was established as a trading company in Tamil Nadu in the year 1947 by Late Mr. M.AL. Alagappa Chettiar. In the late 80’s the Company’s base was moved to Bangalore, Karnataka to take advantage of Bangalore’s fast paced growth. With almost 75 years of experience in the industry, the company has evolved into a leading distributor for products made by some of the world’s top companies. For over 20 years, Vani Private Limited has been the official marketing arm of E.I. DuPont for its “Engineering Plastics” and “The Miracles of Science” range of products; 3M India Ltd. for its “Industrial Tapes, Adhesives and Specialty Division”.
Over the years the company has accomplished a reputation for serving its Customers with enhanced zeal and panache. This in turn has fetched the Company satisfied customers in virtually in every industry segment i.e. Automobile, Railways, Food Packaging, Electronics, Electrical, Appliances, Wire & Cables, Textiles, Telecommunication and Pharmaceuticals etc.

Annamalai, and Gappan Annamalai, the son of AL. Annamalai who is now the 3rd Generation in the business. The family traditionally comes from an Industrial and Agricultural background, the new generation is now bringing in Real Estate, Services and Technology verticals into the portfolio.

Became a distributor for 3M India Ltd (formerly M/s Birla 3M Ltd.) to market their Industrial Adhesives, Tapes and specialty products, which are widely used across all types of industry
Become the stockist for M/s E.I. DuPont (I) Pvt. Ltd to market their high-end Engineering Polymers and Performance Polymers like:

3. DuPont™ RYNITE ® - PET
4. DuPont™ ZYTEL® - PA(Nylon)6 & 66
Took up distributorship for DuPont Tyvek products in the Healthcare and Automotive segment
